*Want to write a CV cover letter but…how?

Each and every CV should be accompanied with CV cover letter. A cover letter is a tool by which you can make your first impression as good as possible. Now, how do make an impression?

Listen, there are number of CV's arriving along with your CV. So, be careful while writing a cover letter. There must be something by which you can grab the reader's attention towards your resume. Note that points and include it in your CV cover letter.

Express your interest in a job position. Don't be afraid to tell about skills or experience they are searching that you have. Write about the relevant things you knew about their company, so that they will come to know about your efforts and how much you are interested in their company. This will be beneficial to you only.

Include your contact details:
Here you should mention your name, full address, telephone numbers/mobile numbers and your e-mail address if you have. Making easy contact to employer is beneficial to you only.

Date:
You should include date in full format e.g.27th August 2007.

Opening:
You should write a letter to specific person only. If you know the name then use it like Dear John. If you don't know, then try to know about it by contacting the organization.

First paragraph:
Here you should mention the position and how you heard of the openings/vacancies (e.g. from ad in newspaper or website or reference). In addition, here you can tell about your interest in company.

Second paragraph:
Here you should summarize your qualification, experience and skills. Explain briefly why they should hire you, what extra qualities you have, how you are the right person to the company. If you have any work experience related to the job position then please include it here.

Third paragraph:
Ask directly for interview. Here you may ask for the date and the time relevant to an employer. You should thank the employer for his/her time and consideration. Tell them that you are waiting for reply.

Finally, give them your contact numbers (telephone numbers or mobile numbers) and make it easy for them to contact you.
