Famiy Christmas Letter

A Family Christmas letter is written by a person (relative or friend) to another family. This is used to wish everyone in the family, a merry Christmas.

Christmas season is one of the happiest seasons. It is the time when all the family members come together to celebrate the joyous spirit of the festival. Friends and families wish each other a merry Christmas and exchange gifts. Children are told stories of Santa and how he will come all the way from North Pole with their gifts, on a reindeer sleigh. All the houses are decorated and everyone brings in Christmas trees which are excitedly decorated by children and adults. Cakes, candles, glitterati, gifts, these things cover the entire space while children wait for Santa Claus with bated breath. They wait for him to land his sleigh on the roof of their homes and climb down the chimney, into their drawing rooms to place their gifts there.

This letter is written by relatives or friends staying away from each other and so, through writing it, you express your best wishes and happiness for the reader. This is primarily written by those who cannot meet each other personally due to some or the other reason. The tone is casual and reflects happiness. Subject: Wishing you all a Merry Christmas

Dear Michael,

How are you all? It's been a long long time since I last saw you guys . I think Sam and Tracey must have moved a class ahead in school. Do you remember our bet from last year's Christmas when we bet on who would be the first to wish Merry Christmas this year? I guess I win with this one. So, how is Hanna? I guess she must be all busy with Christmas preparations and getting gifts for the children.

I am writing this letter to wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and hope for the best for all of you. May this festive season bestow all the joy and prosperity upon you. I can imagine how impatient the children might be getting to receive their gifts from Santa and to open them. Mine are also getting louder. Mike has asked for a PlayStation from Santa this time. So I guess, Santa will soon be bankrupt.

I know I had promised that we would visit you all on Christmas. But I have to go to Hong Kong for a business meet on 26th December. So I am preparing for the same here. A lot of presentations and stuff needs to be taken care of. I know it's a pretty bad timing but the client in Hong Kong is in a hurry.

Give my love to Sam and Tracey and please, get a decent Santa costume this time. You want to surprise the children; not scare them.
