Donations could be in cash or kind. In some situations, cash donations are accepted whereas in some other situations, clothes, food grains, toys, books, etc., are asked for. Getting cash donations is comparatively difficult. People would not easily donate towards a cause in cash; however, if they are asked to donate some of their old belongings, they would probably agree. One such donation request is for books. Many schools run by charity houses, or orphans, who wish to study, etc., need books. Some charity houses also wish to set up a library in some locality, and they would also need books. In such situations, instead of asking for cash, one can request the donor to donate books. To make the donation more meaningful, one can also list down a few subjects or books they require. This would help them get exactly what they want. The books donation letter given below will help you write one for your charity house and get the books you want. Besides requesting for donation, sometimes some people themselves wish to donate. They can also write donation letters informing the particular organization about their donation. 1.
