College Leave Letter

College Leave Letter is written by students who miss their classes or are unable to attend the college due to some reason. The leave letter is written to mention the reason of absence from college along with the dates on which the student was absence or will not be present. College leave letter can be written and given after taking leave or it can also be given before taking the leave. Both of them are quite formal ways to inform about the absence. The format of writing the college leave letter is not too different than other leave letters, but yes in the college leave letter details like department, roll number, batch year should be added. These are information different than other leave letters, which are needed in the college leave letters. The leave letter should be precise and short and should not contain any irrelevant material. The reason for the leave should be stated clearly.

In case you are going for a pre-informed leave, the dates of absence should be clearly mentioned, i.e. what date till which date the candidate is going to be absent; and for an unplanned leave, the leave letter should be provided to the college authority on the next day on arrival.
