Condolence Leave Letter

Condolence leave letter is written just for the purpose as the name indicates. Death is the most unexpected tragedy that could hit a person or a family; anyone in the family if passes away, it becomes a suffering for the rest of the members in the family. Condolence leave letter is issued when someone close in the family or friends dies. This letter can be written after the leave, or just after the death before taking leave. This can be written as a permission seeking letter for the absence due to death caused in your family. Condolence letter is a formal letter, which narrates about someone's death in your family, so the language should be as serious as the situation in your house. It is difficult to write such a letter at the time of grief and sadness, but it is an official requirement. People you work for should be aware of everything, and the reasons you will be taking leave for. Everyone is generally aware of the fact, that loosing someone from your life is considered to be one of the greatest pains. In this odd circumstance, one needs to take leave, and serve the funeral rites of the dismissed person.

I am writing this letter with a lot of grief and sadness, to inform you that my younger brother is no more with us. He expired last night. As I had told you earlier about his ailment, and also that he has been hospitalized for quite some time, last night the doctors also gave up, and could not help him survive.

I feel utterly broken after this incident, as I was really close to my brother. As, an elder brother I have a lot to do in his funeral, and bid a final goodbye. The prayer service is organized on the 10th of the month.

Hence, I request you to grant me leave for 5 days, as I will be taking some time to conduct all the rites of the funeral, and bring myself out of this misery.

I will be very thankful to you for your support.

I have lost my mother, and am really sad about the truth. She was put on to ventilators for 2 hours, but that could not help to make her any better. I have arranged for prayer services after the funeral rites get over, tomorrow. I will be coming for work from 5th of December, if you would grant me the leave till then.

I am the only son of the family, and I have a lot of responsibilities on my shoulder, I will take some time to come out of this tragedy.

I will be very obliged to you, if you please grant me leave till 5th of December.
