School Leave Letter

School leave letter is written by a student when he/she takes a leave and is unable to sit and attend the class for a day or a number of days. They are written to the class teacher and sometimes even to the school principal on special cases. There are basically two types of leaves which students take, those are the informed leaves and uninformed leaves. In informed leaves one generally writes and submits a leave letter before taking the leave. This type of leave letters can also be called request for leaves where students takes permission before taking the leave. In case of uninformed leave one writes a leave letter after taking the leave. An uninformed leave letter is written when student takes leaves on emergency basis like at the time of illness or accident.

Leave letters are written either by students or their parents. One must be careful and prudent while writing a school leave letter as approval greatly depends on the way the letter is written.
