Tax Engagement Letter

A tax engagement letter is one where a regular tax payer writes in to a tax management company, hoping to have his taxes taken care of. It could also refer to a letter of thanks as well as a notification from the side of the tax management company to the tax-payer, informing him how they would be handling his or her tax transactions, that is, what plans and procedures they would be employing here on out.

Template for Tax Engagement Letter (From tax-payer to tax management company)

Step 1 Start with the name of the receiver/tax management company, followed by their address and date. See to it that this comes on the right hand side. Next, on the left hand side, write your own name, address, and contact number.

Step 2 Address the person with a "respected sir or ma'am". If you do not know the individual whom you are consulting, refer to them as "To Whomsoever Concerned".

Step 3 In the letter, mention the fact that you would like to avail of the company's services when it comes to managing your taxes. Say that you are open to further correspondence with them over the matter, and also provide them with your contact number and email id.

Step 4 Mention your monthly income and specifics at your current job, like your work designation and nature of work, how long you have been working at your job et cetera.

Step 5 End the letter with a thanks and your full name and signature.
