The introduction of technology has shown a huge impact on the altered functioning method of many libraries. Through the introduction of new technology, the accessibility of information has become quite easy, and it has also made it easy for the users to adapt to the introduction of new technology in the field of libraries. There has been a major evolvement from the maintenance of traditional card systems to online catalogue information. New technology has seen the introduction of electronic databases, to use of bar codes. There are various developments still taking place in the field of libraries.
