The accompanying resume is in response to an advertisement I found on monster.com for want of a librarian. I consider that my credentials and interests match with your requirements and want to apply for the same.

I have a master degree in library science from University of Chicago. I have worked for National Library for the last five years as a chief librarian. During my tenure, I had made various changes in the working of the library. Some of the plans which were completed under my supervision include:

• Fully automation of library softwares and records.
• Creation of library website where members can get online copies of all the library books and archives.
• Expansion of library facility.
• Raising funds for the children department of the facility, through which free books were supplied to the poor and orphan children.

Though I am enjoying my current work, I am very much looking out for the new opportunities in the same field. I would appreciate the opportunity to discuss how my education and experience will be helpful to you. I hope to hear from you soon.
