Teacher Cover Letter 2Thomas K Eden, Jack Richardson, I am currently teaching in seventh grade Math/Science classroom at Palermo High School in Orville, California, excited to hear about the positions available at your district. I am applying for the full time mathematics teacher for the 2007-2008 school year. I am well aware with the high standards of your district and it would be a privilege for me to be a part of your school staff. In May 2005, I have completed my Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University, where I majored in Liberal Studies with a concentration in mathematics. In spring of 2006 I completed my Multiple Subject Credential with supplemental authorizations in both Mathematics and English. During my four years at California I am getting a full athletic scholarship to play on the men's hockey team. Managing time between both academics and athletics taught me lifelong lessons. Time management, responsibility, organizational skills, leadership, and teamwork are some of the skill sets which I want to use in classroom. I am an enthusiastic, determined and highly motivated teacher. I want my students to grow socially as well as academically. I have more focused on teaching my students to be involved and responsible citizens of a democratic society, during my student teaching placements. I know the importance of communicating with parents and colleagues so that I will be able to provide the best ever education for my students.
