I am very excited to apply for these posts available at your school. I believe my experience , educational background, and skills qualify me for this position. In June 2003, I have completed my graduation form Sibell's College with certification in Child Study. Presently, at South State University I am pursuing my Master's degree in reading. I am also having the certification in early childhood education ( eg.nursery - K: Elem. 1-3). My ultimate goal is to teach each and every skill I am having to my students to make them a good reader and writers. I am having an experience of teaching in variety of early elementary grade levels. Recently, I am working with the regular classroom teacher as a kindergarten short-term substitute. I worked one-on-one basis with a special needs student in the past. I modified her daily instructions by creating those activities that she feel successful doing to help her achieve her IEP goals. Individual behavior plans for students who requires more behavioral support are created and implemented by me. I teach students those useful skills that they could use in their day-to-day life. I also believe in building strong relationships with each family of students. I was raised in an Indian-American family so I am well-versed in cultural differences and challenges. I am more aware, responsive, as well as more sensitive to the needs of various cultural background students.
